The Association for East Asian Studies (AEAS) is based in New York City, USA.

It is an apolitical non-profit organization for scholarly research and publications on East Asia.

Staffed with specialists of different academic disciplines, AEAS also welcomes the submission of papers from researchers of all academic disciplines in the study of East Asia—these submitted articles are subject to peer review before being published online. Through its publications, online resources, and periodic seminars, AEAS provides the public and professional researchers with a respectful platform for sharing in-depth understanding and insight of East Asia.
